So Hmmmmmm what can I say about me????? Well, my name is Christina and I am 21 yrs old. I have been designing since 2004 and I’d say I’ve come a long way pretty fast although everyone always has room for more growth. I’m pretty laid back and I love spending time to myself hanging out in my room designing, reading or watching one of my favorite TV shows.

I recently completed my undergrad education. I majored in Psychology and minored in Law. Many people ask why I didn’t major in an area related to graphic design and the truth is that graphic design is a hobby that I really enjoy doing. It provides a way for me to make supplementary income, however, I do not want it to become something laborious by turning it into 9-5pm career. My ultimate career goal is to become a psychologist and work with children who have been victims of crime. I hope to continue to design as I develop this career.

My Designs

My artwork was either created in Photoshop CS or CS2. My inspiration comes from boredom or a really amazing photograph most of the time. If I needed to sum up my style in a simple phrase it would be “complex simplicity”. I like to choose a bold focal point and build my ideas from there. I try to use vibrant, eye catching color combinations and I try to blend colors that I have never seen together before. My Site

I started designing by making accounts at different social networking websites. I soon became bored with the standard profile page and decided to research how I could make mine just a little bit more unique than your standard page. I began to read a lot of really helpful tutorials (you can find a list of some of them here) and made a lot of amazing virtual friends who also helped me out along the way. Eventually I got bored of the social networking sites and moved to a free site at (Tripod). Some how Corey who used to own Addictedbitches.com (now VERY adult site so visit with care) came across my site and she offered to host me which was I thought was absolutely great. I was hosted under the domain http://pink-diamondz.addictedbitches.com and after about a year there, Corey offered to host my own domain at http://br0ken-hearted.net. From there I decided I wanted a new domain and decided that Urban Barbie did a great job of describing me and generally my designs.
